Magic Hat Beer-Drinking Hat

I designed this for a class in college.  The assignment was to ideate and create a promotional item for a company of our choosing.  My partner and I chose Magic Hat Brewing Company.  While ideating, I had the idea for a magician’s top hat that dispensed beer.  We chose this option, and I created it using a top-hat from eBay, fish tank tubing. car cup holders, and laminated Magic Hat logos.  It is stored in an empty case of Magic Hat #9.

Freedoms Foundation Promotional Bracelet

The Freedoms Foundation was looking for a way to promote themselves within their membership of high school students as well as raise funds through merchandising.  We decided that a LiveStrong-style bracelet would be the best way to do this.  I used a red, white and blue tie-die design to match the Foundation’s color scheme.  The bracletes display the Foundation’s name and website.  The text was laid out in Illustrator, and the manufacturing company provided the proof below.

My Tagline

I designed this tagline based off of the colors of my logo.  I have a very unique last night,  so I used it when I wrote the tagline.  There is a white stroke around the image that does not appear on a white background.  It was designed in Illustrator.

My Logo

I originally designed this logo when I was thinking about going into freelance copywriting.  I have unique initials, which I tried to highlight that with this logo in an intriging way.  I find the colors and the layout appealing.  This was the first step in creating an entire brand for myself.  My logo was created in Illustrator.

Political Door-Hanger

This is a political door-hanger I designed for the committee of a candidate running for local office.  It was hung on the doors of the residents of a specific township.  I tried to highlight the candidate’s message in this design.  It was laid out in Quark.

Promotional Campaign Referral Card

I designed this card as part of a promotional campaign for the local Chamber of Commerce.  The campaign was to reach 1500 members.  Current members were given these cards to give to potential new members.  If the potential members joined, the referring member received a gift.  I tried to incorporate the Chamber’s brand into the design and layout of the card.  The image was designed in Illustrator and laid out in Quark.

This flyer was designed as a part of a promotional membership campaign for the local Chamber of Commerce.  Their goal was to reach 1500 members.  The fliers were laid on the seats of each attendee of an annual membership dinner.  The image was designed in Illustrator.  I tried to capture the theme of the promotion with this flier, which was Renaissance 1500.
